Abstract

Values of the translational diffusion coefficient of a spin probe (2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-oxypiperidine-1-oxyl) are determined via cyclic voltammetry, chronoammetry, and EPR in ionic liquid (1-butyl-3methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate) at 295 K. They are found to be (8 ± 3) × 10 -12, (9 ± 3) × 10-12, and (11 ± 4) × 10-12 m2/s, respectively.
