Thermomagnetic recording in TbFe films and thermal stability of signals

Abstract

The paper describes the investigation of the processes of thermomagnetic recording in amorphous TbFe magnetooptical films as well as the processes of pulse thermal erasure of signals. The results of the experiments on signals degradation during recording media storage at high temperatures are reported.
