Abstract

The modelling of hydrate-formation in laboratory conditions formed the basis for an examination of the existence of gaseous hydrates at negative temperatures. The effect of the self-preservation of gas-hydrates at negative temperatures, discovered during the experimental work, made it possible to reexamine the conditions under which gas-hydrates exist in nature. -P.Cooke
