Using a model and phase transformation kinetics, a numerical analysis is made of the propagation of shock waves of different intensities in Armco-iron and of the effects recurring during the reflection of these waves from the free surface. Comparison of the numerical analysis results with known experimental data show that the proposed mathematical model of a two-phase elastoplastic solid makes it possible to adequately describe the shock flow with/without phase transitions.
