Structure and properties of porous PZT ceramics, synthesized by selective laser sintering method

Abstract

The possibility of using selective laser sintering (SLS) in the fabrication of porous lead zirconate titanate ceramic piezoelements is examined. The density of the sintered specimens is measured and its dependence on sintering parameters are presented. X-ray diffraction analysis show the changes in the phase content of the sintered specimens. The unit cell parameters of the PbTiO3 phase produced by laser sintering differ from that obtained by furnace annealing.
