Slow motion of domain walls in amorphous TbFe films

Abstract

We carried out experiments on the slow motion of domain walls in TbFe amorphous films. Experimental dependences of the activation energy of this process on the external magnetic field were obtained. A specific physical model describing the experimental results and providing the expression for the activation energy similar to those obtained by Stacey has been proposed. The results obtained allow certain assumptions concerning the nature of RE-TM films coercivity.
