Scattering of a Plane Wave at a Sound Pulse

Abstract

The problem is solved using Green's function. Time derivatives of the pulse envelope are neglected and the properties of delta-function are used. It is shown that the scattering takes place at Doppler frequency only into the small neighbourhood of some angle with the bounds determined in the work. In bounds crossing, pressure can drop not discontinuously but smoother.
