Quantum superconductor-metal transition in a proximity array

Abstract

A theory of quantum superconductive-metal transition in a two-dimensional (2D) proximity-coupled array is presented. This transition can be traced by continuous variation of the carrier density in the 2D film. The critical value of the bare film resistance is nonuniversal and small.
