On the volume oscillations of a gas bubble in a liquid filled flask

Abstract

The spherical-symmetrical problem of the singular gas bubble in the center of the spherical flask filled by compressible liquid with forced radial excitation by the flask wall is studied. The asymptotic solutions for the external field far the bubble and internal filed near the bubble are obtained for the long wave and low Mach number regimes. For analytical solution, Rayleigh-Plesset equation is presented.
