Supersonic three-dimensional laminar nonuniform flow past a spherically-blunted elongated cone is studied over a wide Mach and Reynolds number range. The characteristics of the heat flux to the body associated with the oncoming-flow nonuniformity and the second-order effects of boundary layer theory are established. The static flight stability when a body moves in a far aerodynamic wake is investigated for various wake parameters.
