Abstract

Dynamics of a near-surface turbulent ″thermic″ is numerically investigated. A mathematical model is presented, based on the system of Reynolds equations for a compressible thermally conductive gas. The system is written in cylindrical coordinates for the axially symmetric case. The algorithm developed gives the opportunity to apply the model to investigate dynamics of near-surface ″thermic″s in the wide range of the decisive parameters.
