Hossbauer spectroscopy (MS) and magneto-optical studies of RF-sputtered TbxFel00-x (10<x<34) films were carried out. Spectra were measured at room temperature in a transmission geometry. All the spectra were fitted to a hyperfine field Hndistribution. The average iron magnetic moment uFeover the whole distribution was obtained for wide range of Tb-Fe film composition. The correlation between MS and magneto-optical data was studied. The effective values of the angle between the film normal and direction for Fe atom moments uFewere obtained. Possible reasons for iron moments declination from the film normal are discussed.
