The nonlinear problem of the thermal, mass, and dynamic interaction between a single bubble and the surrounding liquid is considered. The problem is connected with investigations of the flow of vapor and liquid mixtures with bubble structure, in particular the propagation of shock waves in such media. Results are presented of the numerical solution of a problem concerning the radial motion of a bubble, caused by a sudden change of pressure in the liquid, which in particular, corresponds to the behavior of bubbles behind the front of a shock wave when the latter enters the bubble curtain. The present work does not use the simplifying assumption that the vapor temperature in a bubble is uniform and that the thermal boundary layer in the fluid is thin.
