A method to investigate dynamics of the domain boundaries of high-magnetic amorphous films with rare earth and transient metal composition has been described. By using this method the velocity of the motion of domain boundaries in an advancing fiend (up to 6 kOe) in ≤10 kOe magnetic films may be measured. By varying the durability of a pulse of the moving field and by measuring in this case the radius of a frozen magnetic domain, it is possible to determine the distance that the domain boundary passes during a certain period of time in a given magnetic field. An optical circuit of the device operating according to this principles has been presented.
