Abstract

Supersonic turbulent flows near the surface of a dulled cone have been calculated, using completed equations for a viscous shock layer. An algebraic turbulence model of Boldwin-Lomax is used. The model takes into account the compressibility in the Van-Drist damper. Turbulence is ignored in an uniform flow, due to the fact that there is no lateral gradient of velocity. In a nonuniform flow, turbulence does not influence the distribution of a thermal flow and friction on the surface of a dulled cone.
