Abstract

A modified "coarse particle" method has been developed for calculating the non-stationary flows of multiphase dispersive media - heterogeneous mixtures of gas (steam) with solid (liquid) dispersed particles. The method is illustrated by the example of the one-dimensional non-stationary flow of a two-phase mixture of the type indicated. The approximating properties of the scheme are investigated. An algorithm for the localization of the surface of separation of the domains of one- and two-phase flows is described. The possibilities of the method are illustrated by the results of calculations.
